How do I add and remove a Christmas Message on Letters?

Add a Christmas message to letters

  1. Access your Smokeball Settings from the Cog Wheel in the top right-hand corner or File Smokeball Settings in the top left-hand corner

  2. Click on the Document Containers tab
  3. Right-click on your (Default Letter) and select Modify

  4. Insert your Christmas Message below the signoff (or as required)

5. Click to place your cursor in front of the <<Body Content>> field

6. Click Save & Close in the top left-hand of the Word document

7. Click Save on the Smokeball Settings window

Any letters/precedents based on this container will now populate with your Christmas message.

Note: Repeat for any other containers that you want the message on.

Remove a Christmas message from letters

  1. Access your Smokeball Settings from the Cog Wheel in the top right-hand corner or File Smokeball Settings in the top left-hand corner
  2. Click on the Document Containers tab 
  3. Right-click on the container that you set up the Christmas message on (Default Letter is most common) and select Version History

  4. Right Click on the version of the Container prior to the Christmas message being added and select Set as current version

  5. Select Yes to confirm and then OK
