Archie
We are excited to introduce Archie, Smokeball's AI-powered Matter Assistant.Â
Link related matters together
Linking related matters is only enabled if your firm has installed the recent update on Smokeball performance.
You can now link related matters by selecting the related matter icon next to the matter status.
To link a matter:
- Open a matter file in the Smokeball desktop app.
- Select the related matter icon on the top-left corner, next to the matter status.
- Type the name of the matter in the search bar and click on it to add it to related matters.
Once linked, the matters will be connected on both sides. Click on the matter name in the Related Matters window to open that matter.
Unlink a related matter by selecting the X icon next to the matter.
Create a Purchase (NSW) matter in one click from the Contract of Sale
If you have the InfoTrack integration enabled, you can upload a Contract of Sale PDF from your computer to create a new Purchase (NSW) matter.
You can also create the matter from a Contract of Sale PDF attached to an email.
Upon uploading the PDF and selecting Create, Smokeball will automatically populate the matter details from the Contract of Sale document.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the 'Checkboxes cannot be applied here' error message would appear when trying to modify property details on certain precedents.
