When a new version of Smokeball is available, we will automatically update for you as long as Smokeball and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) are closed.
Otherwise, you will be prompted to update in the following areas:
Dialogue window upon opening Smokeball
Smokeball Home Screen
When accessing Smokeball Settings, you can view your current Smokeball version and the version number of the latest version if there is a discrepancy.
Updating the web app
When a new version of Smokeball is available in the web app, a prompt to Refresh the page will appear in the top-right corner. Select Refresh browser to update.
