Reverse a Payment

 

You can reverse a payment on an invoice, a Client Account deposit (including Interest Accrued entry), or a Client Account or Office Account payment.

  1. Under the Accounts view or in the matter file, select the transaction that you want to reverse.

  2. Select Reverse.

  3. Enter the Reason for reversal, then select Process.

 

Did You Know

  • You can not reverse a Transfer of funds from one Client Account to another. If a Client to Client transfer is made in error, it will need to be "re-transferred" to the correct account.
