Make the Smokeball Dashboard work for you by adding widgets to keep track of important tasks, leads, and activities.
This article will detail widgets available in the Boost Widget Library. You can also customize your dashboard by moving widgets around, re-naming widgets, and removing widgets.
Note: Only you can see changes made to your dashboard. Changes you make on the dashboard customization screen are not visible to other users in your firm.
Add widgets to your dashboard
- Select the Pencil Icon from the top-right corner of the dashboard to enter the layout customization screen and select Add Widget.
- Select Add Widget and choose the widget you need from the Widget Library window.
- Select Save.
- Note: Select the Exit button to leave layout customization mode.
While in customization mode, you can use the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of any widget to re-name the widget or remove it from the dashboard. You can also select and drag the widget to re-position it on your dashboard.
Types of Widgets
My Daily Digest
An overview of your day’s assigned tasks and events.
My Overdue Tasks
A list of all assigned tasks which are overdue.
My Upcoming Events
The My Upcoming Events widget lists all your daily and future calendar events.
Recently Viewed Matters
Use the Recently Viewed Matters widget for shortcuts to the matters you've recently accessed.
View New Leads or New Matters
The New Leads and New Matters widgets show all new leads or matters created in a specific timeframe.
View Hours
Easily keep track of your hours using the Hours widget. Once enabled, the Hours widget displays your number of billable and non-billable time entries logged for the specified period.
Note: Pending fees will not be included.
Billable Activity
Use the Billable Activity widget to assess your firm's fee activity for the month.
Leads with No Activity
Use the Leads with No Activity widget to follow up on leads which have not had any activity within a certain timeframe. Use this widget to stay on top of your leads and prevent matters from falling through the cracks.
