You can revert to a previous version of a form with Smokeball if you make mistakes or override important information and need to restore the older version.
Reverting forms
- Open the relevant matter and select the Forms & Templates button.
- Navigate to the form you want to revert by double-clicking the relevant folder.
- Right-click on the form.
- Select Version History.
- The asterisk (*) by the date indicates the current version of the document.
- The asterisk (*) by the date indicates the current version of the document.
- Right-click on the version you want to use and then select Set as current version.
- Select OK.
When you open this form in the future, it will open with the version that you have selected (displayed with an asterisk).
Reverting document containers
- Open Smokeball Settings and navigate to Document Containers.
- From the Document Containers window, right-click on the container you wish to revert.
- Select Version History.
- Review the previous versions of your container and once you locate the original that you wish to revert to, right-click it and select Set as current version.
- The asterisk (*) indicates the current version of the document container.
- If you are unsure which version you are looking for, select View this version before setting it as the current version.
- Select OK.
Additional tips
There is no limit to how many times you can change the version of the form or document container.
