Getting Started with the Smokeball Web App and Billing for Grow/Prosper+

Smokeball offers a web app designed to streamline billing as well as matter management.

If you are migrating from an existing billing program, you should complete the current billing cycle in that program, transfer any balances due and deposits to Smokeball, and then start billing in Smokeball.

Read on to learn how to begin billing with Smokeball. 

Enable the Smokeball Billing Integration

Available on Smokeball Grow and Prosper+

Once you have completed the final billing cycle with your previous billing program, you need to activate the web app. 

  1. Open Smokeball Settings and select the Time & Billing tab.
  2. Tick Enable integration of TIme & Disbursements.
  3. Under the Time & Activities tab, set your billing units for rounding entries.

  4. Under Billing Integrations, select Smokeball Billing.
  5. Select the Save button.

From the Smokeball Desktop App

Once you have enabled the Smokeball Billing integration in Smokeball Settings, you can access it anytime from the Billing button in the Smokeball Action Bar.

From your Web Browser

Alternatively, bookmark https://app.smokeball.com.au/ to access it anytime and on any device that runs the Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge web browser.
