AML Reliance (Federal)

The AML Reliance matter type has been designed for law firms and conveyancers engaged to conduct AML compliance checks on behalf of other reporting entities such as real estate agents under reliance agreements, reducing duplication of verification processes.

Common Contact Cards and Layouts

The following Contact Cards and Layouts appear by default on an AML Reliance matter:

  • Relying Party
  • CDD Subject (i.e Customer Due Diligence Subject)
  • Property Details

Uncommon Contact Cards and Layouts

The Additional Contact card is also available for selection as an uncommon contact card on a matter-by-matter basis.

Learn how to select uncommon contacts from within the matter.

If you don’t see a contact card needed for this matter type, you can submit a request for it to be added to Smokeball.

Precedent Library

The AML Reliance matter type provides access to the Conveyancing Precedent Profile. It contains pre-set Precedent Library folders which include non-legally drafted precedents for everyday use, together with shortcuts to commonly used documents found under Court & Authority forms:

If the Precedent Profile does not appear in the Precedent Library, please ensure that you have subscribed to the Precedent Profile.

If you don’t see a commonly used and publicly available form and you would like it added to Smokeball, you can request a form.
