Show AI model options

Select the drop-down menu to choose another model to experiment with.

All models made available have passed our privacy and security review. They do not share, use, store or train on our users data.

The following models are available:

  • OpenAI GPT-5.2 (default): Balanced, fast, and reliable for everyday work such as drafting, summaries, quick questions, and routine matter analysis. The recommended starting point for most users.
  • OpenAI GPT-5.2 (Thinking): The same model with extended reasoning. Use it when a task needs more careful, step-by-step analysis, multi-document review, spotting ambiguity, or working through complex instructions.
  • OpenAI GPT-5.3 and 5.4: The newer GPT releases, with incremental improvements in reasoning quality and instruction-following. Choose these when you want the most up-to-date GPT capabilities; 5.4 is the most advanced GPT option in the line-up.
  • Claude Opus 4.6: Anthropic's strong all-rounder, known for nuanced, natural legal writing and careful long-document handling. A great choice for correspondence, memos, and drafting where tone and precision matter.
  • Claude Opus 4.6 (Thinking): Opus 4.6 with extended reasoning; well suited to complex matters, cross-document analysis, and detecting conflicting or ambiguous terms across a file.
  • Claude Opus 4.7: The newer Opus release, building on 4.6 with improved reasoning and reliability. Choose this for the most capable Claude experience for demanding analytical and drafting work.

Ask follow-up questions for vague prompts

Enable this setting for Archie to start asking clarifying questions on prompts it considers vague. For example, if you ask "Draft an email to my client", it may respond with "Certainly, what exactly would you like to discuss with your client so I can draft the email?”.

Confirm file selection when asking about specific files in a prompt

Enable this setting if you would like Archie to confirm the file or document you are referring to in your prompt. This will appear if you ask Archie a question about a document without specifying the document first.

Use Advanced thinking for complex prompts

Enable this setting if you would like to see Archie's thought process listed out while it is generating a complex response.

Archie will determine if a prompt/question is complex in nature, and whether it should look for more relevant information than normal, and whether it should go into a deeper analysis for a better response.

Note that this will add to Archie's response time, but the end result should be more accurate.

Disable Advanced Text Extraction on PDFs

When Archie is asked a question about a PDF, a check is done in the back end to ensure the text has been extracted successfully for that PDF before running the prompt. If not, it is run through an advanced extraction tool to ensure Archie has the best chance at a great response.

The advanced text extraction process may take a considerable amount of time so the option is available to disable this from running.
