The Smokeball Data Import/Export tool has been updated with the following changes:
Data Import Updates
- Supplier Paid & Supplier Date Paid Fields for Cost Recoveries:
- The Supplier Paid field is now visible and must be explicitly provided for Cost Recovery entries on the Unbilled Cost Recovery and Invoice Items imports.
- A new Supplier Date Paid field has been added.
- Validation logic for all supplier-related fields has been updated based on the Anticipated and Supplier Paid combination provided.
- UI Wording Refinements
- The Waived column has been renamed to Write Off across the Unbilled Time & Fees, Unbilled Cost Recovery, and Invoice Items imports.
- Activity Types have been renamed to Activity Codes.
- Opening Balances have been renamed to Account Balances.
- Invoice Items have been renamed to Billed Invoice Entries.
- Operating has been updated to Operating Retainer.
Data Export Updates
- A Tags column has been added to the Matter export, containing all tags associated with each matter (semicolon-separated).
- Archive-related columns have been added to the Matter export, including Archived status, Archive/Box Number, Archive Location, Archive Comment, Archived Date, and Destroy Date.
- A new Calendar Events export option has been added.
- The Waived column has been renamed to Write Off across the Unbilled Time & Fees, Unbilled Cost Recoveries, and Invoice Items exports.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where items imported as anticipated were incorrectly being automatically set to supplier paid.
- Fixed an error where importing an Unbilled Time & Fees file containing only fixed fee rows would fail with a
Column 'hours' cannot be nullerror. - Fixed a floating point precision issue where inclusive tax calculations could incorrectly round down by 1 cent.
- Fixed an issue where source system selection prompt data was not correctly saved for the first import performed for a firm.
- Fixed a character encoding issue where the £ symbol was displaying as
£in column headers of Excel exports
