Editing a letterhead with a different first page

Learn how to make changes to your letterhead when the first page of the document is different.

  1. Go to Smokeball Settings.
  2. In the Document Containers tab, right-click on the relevant letterhead and select Modify.
  3. Double-click into the Word document Header.
  4. In the Word ribbon go to Header & Footer and tick Different First Page.
  5. Double-click on the document body to exit out of Header and Footer mode.
  6. Click on the very bottom of the document text, then select the Insert tab and click on Page Break

This will create a second page, with a different header.
  7. Double-click on the header on the second page and make the necessary edits to it.
  8. Double-click on the document body of the second page to exit out of Header and Footer mode.
