What do I do if the Smokeball desktop app does not launch?

Available on Smokeball Grow and Prosper+

If you are unable to open the Smokeball desktop app, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Press the Ctrl + Alt + Del  keys on your keyboard simultaneously and then select Task Manager.
  2. Navigate to the Details tab.
  3. Scroll down until you locate the Smokeball.exe application.
  4. Right-click on the application and select End Task.
  5. Attempt to re-open the Smokeball desktop app.

Alternatively, you can attempt to restart the Smokeball Windows Service:

  1. Press the Ctrl + Alt + Del  keys on your keyboard simultaneously and then select Task Manager.
  2. Navigate to the Services tab.
  3. Scroll down until you locate the Smokeball-Windows-Service.
  4. Right-click on Smokeball-Windows-Service and then select Restart.
  5. Attempt to re-open the Smokeball desktop app. 

If the Smokeball desktop app still does not run after following the aforementioned steps, try rebooting your computer. If you are still experiencing this issue after a reboot, contact support@smokeball.com for additional assistance.
