CaseMark is an artificial intelligence tool which enables you to securely summarize legal documents with unprecedented speed. Together with Smokeball, you can use CaseMark to improve your legal workflows. Learn more about CaseMark on their website. 

Set up CaseMark

1. Navigate to CaseMark.com
2. Create an account and sign-in.
   • Note: CaseMark does not require a monthly subscription fee and uses a pay-as-you go model. 
3. Open your CaseMark profile and select the Connectors tab.
4. Under Document management, select Smokeball.

Using CaseMark

1. Select the Documents tab of CaseMark and then select Import from Smokeball.
2. Follow the prompts to select the document(s) you wish to upload. 
3. Select the Dashboard tab and choose the workflow you wish to use. 
   • You can choose narrative deposition summary, page-line deposition summary, matter profile/case summary, summarize files, or trial or hearing summary.
4. Select which document(s) to process under the workflow from the dropdown menu and provide a name for the workflow. 
5. Select Continue.
6. Navigate to the Workflows tab. Once the Status indicator is Complete, you can click on the workflow to view the document.

CaseMark document overview

CaseMark specializes in summarizing depositions, trial and hearing transcripts, tax returns, and police returns. 

Documents processed by CaseMark will begin with an abstract summarizing the entire document. Subsequent pages will include a table with page/line summaries. You can click on the page/line to view the actual transcript/testimony.
