This month's Boost release contains the following new features and refinements.

New features

Smokeball Payments

We are pleased to announce our new payments solution, Smokeball Payments! As an alternative to Stripe, get paid faster with debit and credit card Pay Now links on invoices, and securely collect trust deposits from your clients for peace of mind.

Mark disbursements/supplier payments as paid in bulk

To streamline the payment reconciliation process when handling high volumes of disbursements, you can mark multiple entries as paid in bulk.

Letterhead Editor

You can now edit the contents of your letterhead from Smokeball Boost. To do this:

1. Select the Settings (gear) icon on the bottom-left corner of the Smokeball Web App, then select Firm Settings.
   

2. Select Documents from the left menu, then select Edit Letterhead. A new window will open in Word Online.

   

3. Select the Smokeball tab at the top of the screen in Word Online, then select Show Details.

   

   The Smokeball Toolbar will open from the right-hand side of the screen.

To add fields to the letterhead:

1. Open the Smokeball Toolbar and expand one of the field options.
2. Place your cursor where you want the field to appear in the document.

3. Double-click the field name to insert it. You can also select Insert.

   

You can change the format of a field by:

1. Clicking on or into an inserted field and choosing the format from the right-hand panel.

   

2. Clicking the Format button and selecting the applicable formatting from the drop-down menu, before Inserting it.

   

Select Save Letterhead to save your changes.
