This article will show you how to:

To create a new sale matter, follow the steps below:

  1. Click New Matter from the Home Screen
  2. Select State: VIC
  3. Select Matter Category: Conveyancing 
  4. Select Matter Type: Sale
  5. Pre-populate the matter with Title Reference of Address or Order the Title
  6. Click Create

  7. Enter the parties, including all relevant details. To add an additional party, such as the Vendor, right click on the Vendor and select Add Vendor.

  1. Select Property Details to enter the Property Information and enter the address, improvement details, property details and manner of holding.

  1. Navigate to Title Particulars to enter title type, registration and relevant volume/ book and folio/ number.
  2. Details for information relating to s32(1)-(6) may also be entered into the relevant tabs on this screen.
  3. Select Conveyancing Details and input the Price, Deposit Breakdown and Key Dates. Sunset Details may also be added on the next tab. 
  4. Select Settlement Financials and input relevant adjustments by clicking on the title and description of the adjustment and inputting the relevant details. For further information on how to complete Settlement Financials, click on the Quick Guide on the bottom left hand of the Settlement Financials screen.Settlement Financails (2).png
  1. Review and complete the payment directions by clicking on the Payment tab. Rates payable on settlement will prepopulate from your adjustments and additional payments may be added by clicking Add Payment. For further information on how to complete Settlement Financials, click on the Quick Guide on the bottom left hand of the Settlement Financials screen.Payment directions (1).png
  1. Any payments that you add in Time and Disbursements will automatically prepopulate under Our Account on the Payment Directions.

  2. You can add details for the following common contacts:
    • the Vendor's Agent, as well as the Agent's commission and fees under Agent's Details;
    • the Discharging Mortgagee including the Mortgagee Details;
    • Council; 
    • Water Authority; and
    • Revenue Office. 
  3. To add Uncommon Contacts to your matter, open the Matter Settings and select the appropriate contact from the Parties & Data available for your matter.
