It is possible to delete a file from any matter by right-clicking on the item. However, nothing is ever permanently deleted. In a matter of a few clicks, you can restore the file.
Important Note
Files that are deleted in Smokeball cannot be permanently removed. You can restore deleted files at any time.

Delete a File
Right-click any document and select delete.
Restore a Deleted File
- Right-click any document and select Show deleted items.
- Locate the deleted file, right-click, and select Restore.
Smokeball Web App
It is possible to delete a file from any matter.
Note: A document deleted on the web app cannot be restored.
Delete a file
- Navigate to the Documents section of your matter.
- Click on the three horizontal documents and select Delete.
