Note to Boost users

YoCierge will save medical records back to the relevant matter if you use Boost. Medical provider data will only be pulled if you have Grow or Prosper+.

Smokeball offers an integration with YoCierge, a powerful medical records retrieval service.

Connecting your YoCierge and Smokeball Accounts

As a Smokeball user, you can turn on the integration with YoCierge by going to https://online.yocierge.com/mypreferences

    • Go to the Integrations section
    • Select Smokeball and click "Connect."
    • Login to Smokeball with your credentials to turn on the integration for the firm.

Note: Only one Smokeball user at the firm needs to authorize the integration to connect.

Creating an Order for Your Smokeball Matter

Once authorized, you can order medical records for your Smokeball matters.

1. Go to order records and search for your Smokeball matter.

2. After you select your matter, YoCierge will pull in matter and client details to populate the order.

3. As you move forward in the order, YoCierge will populate the contact details of the medical providers from the  Medicals & Settlement Details. 

 

The contact and matter fields between Smokeball and YoCierge map in the following fashion:

Receiving the Medical Records and Expenses

Once YoCierge retrieves the records, the files will automatically be imported into the Smokeball matter file list. 

 

YoCierge will create a non-billable expense in the matter for the cost of the records and their service.

  • The expense will be assigned to the Attorney Responsible in the matter. (If there is no Attorney Responsible in the matter , the first staff in Settings -> Staff and Users will be selected.)
  • The expense will include your client name and the medical provider name.
