- In the Criminal Matter types, use case details to keep track of court information, arrest details, bail and time served.
- Use tickets/charges to keep track. Be sure to indicate if the ticket/charge has a separate case number.
- In some jurisdictions, there different case numbers for each charge. Smokeball allows you to indicate that and record their respective case numbers.
- It is important to note your client’s prior charges. Case details is where to note that information.
Did You Know
- Case Details does not have a field for hearing dates, but you can keep track of these using calendar events.
- If you need to enter information that does not have a designated field, such as a PI or consultant, then the best practice is to add them as an authorized contact.
