Once funds are deposited in a particular Matter, those funds can be transferred from a trust or operating retainer account to move funds for clients that have multiple matters.
However, you can not transfer funds from a trust account into an operating retainer account or operating retainer funds into a trust account.
How to Transfer Funds
- From a matter or the operating retainer or trust account, select "transfer funds"
- Enter the required information and process the transfer of funds.
- (1) Select a matter, contact, and amount to transfer from.
- (2) Select a matter and contract to transfer to.
- (3) Process to complete the transfer.
