Legalyze.ai Integration

Learn how to connect Legalyze.ai with Smokeball, allowing you to use the power of AI and machine learning to analyse and chat with your matter files.

To get started with Legalyze.ai, you can request a free trial by emailing trial@legalyze.ai or scheduling a demo. 

Connect Legalyze.ai with Smokeball

1. Log into Legalyze.ai and click on your name in the top-right corner.
2. Select Integrations.
   
3. Choose your Smokeball region from the drop-down list and select Connect to Smokeball.
   
4. Log in with your Smokeball email and password, then select Sign in.
   
5. You will be redirected back to Legalyze.ai once you have successfully connected.

Uploading files from a matter to Legalyze.ai

1. In Legalyze.ai, select Add Case from the top of the screen.
   
2. Under the Upload Files From section, select Smokeball.
   
   • If the files from Smokeball are scanned and require OCR, click the checkbox next to ‘Use OCR
     for scanned files?’
     
   • You can also upload files from your computer.
3. Select a matter from the drop-down menu.
   
4. Select the file(s) from the next drop-down menu and select Add Case to upload them to Legalyze.ai.
   

Analyzing the files in Legalyze.ai

After uploading your files, you can ask questions about the entire case or individual files.

1. Click on the file you wish to query.
2. Type in your question in the chat bar at the bottom of the screen.
3. Select the send button next to the chat bar.

4. Legalyze.ai will then respond to the question and provide sources. To view the sources, click the Sources button. Sources indicate the document, along with text excerpts and page numbers, that the AI utilised to respond to your question.

Good to know

• All data uploaded to Legalyze.ai is encrypted and stored securely on AWS servers under Legalyze.ai's control. Legalyze.ai has also undergone an extensive third-party security pentest and the report is available upon request from Legalyze.ai.
• Legalyze.ai is powered by OpenAI's enterprise API. They do not train the model with your data.
• On-premise AI models are available under Legalyze.ai's Enterprise plan. They are AI models hosted within your network and can be fine-tuned securely and exclusively for your firm. Reach out to Legalyze.ai for more information.
