This month's Smokeball Boost release contains the following features and refinements.
New features
Microsoft 365 Calendar integration
You can now sync your M365 Calendar with Smokeball Boost. This two-way sync will ensure you never miss an important meeting, key date or event.
Microsoft Outlook 365 Email integration
You can now connect your Outlook emails to Smokeball Boost, allowing you to tag emails and attachments, sent/received, in relation to your legal work, directly on the appropriate matter.
Word Online add-in compatibility
Smokeball Boost now supports a Microsoft Word add-in. You can use this add-in to create letters directly from your matter.
File Manager
We have added a File Manager program you can download to your PC or Mac which makes it easier to manage and edit your documents from the Web App.

You can now set performance targets for your staff to help calculate KPIs and compensation.

Time Adjustments - Summary Report
Use the Time Adjustments - Summary Report to view:
- Written off time entries
- Time entries where the duration is different between Time Worked and Time Billed
Notes:
- This report will only show entries after 19th September 2024.
- Discounts and surcharges do not affect this report.
- Value columns are calculated based on the current rate on the time entry.

Grouped time entries where any entry is billable will always show on the report and non-billables will be treated as adjustments.

Bulk trust deposits
You can now apply trust deposits in bulk across multiple matters.Â
