The Children and Property (WA) matter type provides the necessary contact cards and layouts for both parenting arrangements for children and for the division of assets and liabilities in a financial settlement after a relationship ends, whether or not proceedings commence in the Family Court of Western Australia.
Common Contact Cards and Layouts
The following Contact Cards and Layouts appear by default on a Children and Property (WA) matter:
- Client and Client Details
Enter the role of your Client i.e. applicant or respondent, and their relationship to the children under Client Details. - Other Side, Other Side Details and Other Side’s Solicitor
Enter the role and relationship of the Other Side under Other Side Details. - Relationship Details
Enter the parties’ cohabitation, marriage, separation and divorce details. - Case Details
Enter the details of any financial disclosure sent or received, court proceedings, mediation details, or orders. - Child and Child Details
