Learn how to connect Smokeball to OX Rooms, allowing you to import matter details and contacts to your OX Rooms hubs.

Connecting Smokeball to OX Rooms

From OX Rooms, select View Hub next to the relevant hub you wish to connect Smokeball to.
Select Hub Settings from the menu bar, then select Smokeball Integration.
Click Connect Smokeball.
Follow the prompts to log in to your Smokeball account. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be taken back to your OX Rooms hub.

In your OX Rooms hub, navigate to Matters, then select Import from Smokeball.
A list of your Smokeball matters will appear on the screen. Click Import next to a matter you'd like to import into OX Rooms. You can also use the search bar at the top of the screen to find specific matters in the list.
Check the pre-populated information from Smokeball is correct (Matter Reference, Parties and Property Details).
In the Documents section, tick up to 50 documents from the matter to import to OX Rooms. You can also tick an option to automatically import new and updated Smokeball documents to the matter.
In the Invites section, you can choose to invite other parties to the matter in OX Rooms. Tick the options that apply.
In the Add team members section, select the staff members of the OX Room hub that can view this matter.
In the Payment section, choose an existing payment card or enter the details of a new card.
Select Import matter.

Once you have imported a matter to OX Rooms, you can sync information from Smokeball to OX Rooms:

When adding a party, select Prefill from Smokeball to choose a contact from your Smokeball contacts list. Their details will auto-populate in the contact fields.
When importing documents from Smokeball, you can also add them to any of your work rooms in OX Rooms.
An OX Book created after exchanging contracts will be downloaded automatically and synced back to the Smokeball matter's documents list.
