Learn how to use the advanced search to save conduct a conflict check and save the results to a matter. Advanced search looks at contacts, document titles and document content within Smokeball.
- Select Search from the left menu.
- Type the relevant name or phrase in the search bar.

Results will populate, and you will see from this search you can see we have 1 Lead, 2 matters, 5 contacts and 26 documents that contain these words. You can open each of these to complete your conflict check.

Select Save Conflict Check next to the search bar to save a full report on the findings in this search.

Choose the relevant matter in the new window.

Type your conflict check assessment in Notes.
- Select Save.
A PDF document of the conflict check saves to the matter. The PDF contains the above Notes and a copy of the search results.
