Many fields throughout Smokeball have a maximum number of characters they will accept. This article lists the current character limits for common fields so you know how much text you can enter in each.
Note
Limits marked with a tilde (~) are approximate. If you paste text that exceeds a field's limit, the extra characters will be trimmed or the entry may not save.
Messages, memos & notes

The 255-character limit on document names is a Windows operating system restriction rather than a Smokeball one. Documents renamed within Smokeball can use longer names (at least 480 characters).
