It is possible to delete a file from any matter by right-clicking on the item. However, nothing is ever permanently deleted, and you can restore any file deleted accidentally.
Delete a file
Right-click any document and select Delete or select and use the Delete hotkey.
Restore a deleted file:
Right-click under documents and select Show deleted items.
Locate the deleted file, right-click, and select Restore.
It is possible to delete a file from any matter. Note: A document deleted in the Smokeball Boost version of the web app cannot be restored.
Delete a file
- Navigate to the Documents section of your matter.
- Click on the three horizontal documents and select Delete.
Note: It is possible to restore a file deleted in the web app if you are a Grow/Prosper+ user and can access the desktop version of Smokeball:
- Right-click under documents and select Show deleted items.
- Locate the deleted file, right-click, and select Restore. It is possible to delete a file from any matter
- The restored document will be accessible in the matter's documents section on both Smokeball Desktop and the web app.
