Prompt emails to be allocated to a matter with Outlook notifications

It is best practice to enable Outlook notifications to ensure that your emails are properly assigned to matters. Follow these steps:

1. Select File from the top-left corner of the Smokeball desktop app.
2. Select Smokeball Settings.
3. Navigate to the Outlook and Notifications tab.
4. Select Prompt to rename emails when allocated to a matter if you want to receive a notification to rename any email assigned to matter. Select Prompt to select a matter when sending emails if you want to receive a notification to assign your outgoing emails to a matter. 

Set up Daily Digest notification emails

You can also use this menu to receive summary emails every morning. 

1. In the Outlook and Notifications tab, tick Send me a daily summary email every morning.
2. Select the blue Send now to receive a Daily Digest email now, to make sure it is sending to the correct email address.
