InfoTrack’s CourtSync is a document syncing service designed for lawyers to keep matters up to date when documents are received from the Commonwealth Court Portal.
With CourtSync:
- Once documents, orders and judgements are submitted, any updated documents will automatically be saved back into your Smokeball matter with a click of a button.
- You can also eFile directly from Smokeball, where matter information and documents are automatically populated.
Accessing CourtSync
- Open a matter in Smokeball and select Litigation Services, then select eFile & Sync.
- The Family Court Services portal will open in your browser. Log in with your credentials.
Saving Court Portal documents back to Smokeball
Once you have logged into the Court Portal, you can view all files synced to your matter or search for and select the matter you wish to sync to the Smokeball matter. Any documents synced from the portal will save into a new folder in the Smokeball matter.
eFiling in the Court Portal
When you select a file in the Court Portal, you have the option to eFile it on the spot. Party and matter information will be synced over from Smokeball as well as any documents attached to the Smokeball matter.
Once you file a document, any associated expenses for the eFiling will be synced back to the Smokeball matter.
