Managing trust ledgers effectively is crucial for legal practitioners to ensure compliance with trust accounting regulations. Learn how to generate a trust ledger in Smokeball.
- In the Smokeball Web App , select Reports from the left menu.
- Click on the Trust Statements report. This report provides a comprehensive list of all trust transactions in each matter.
- At the top of the report are a set of filters. Select the following filters to generate a full trust ledger for all matters:

Report period: Select the appropriate date range for which you want the ledger. To include all transactions, select the custom report period and set the start date to the earliest possible date and the end date to the current date.

Matters: Ensure that the report is set to include all matters. You can select specific matters or all matters. Select the All Matters option.

- Click on Email Report. Smokeball will compile the report and send it to your email inbox.
