Once you have connected your InfoTrack account to Smokeball, learn how to leverage the integration to simplify your workflow.
If you haven’t already, connect your InfoTrack account to Smokeball.
Order an InfoTrack search from Smokeball
- Select a matter in Smokeball, then select the InfoTrack tab.
- Select New Search.
- InfoTrack will open in your internet browser. Complete your order through InfoTrack.
- Navigate back to Smokeball to see a list of reports or electronic signatures ordered through InfoTrack, its status, which user ordered, and the disbursement fee of the order.
Notes:
- Searches will save into the matter documents in Smokeball once the status shows Complete. If the status shows Pending, Waiting, Sent to the authority, or Error, contact InfoTrack for more information.
- You can right-click searches to view them or manually save them to a matter.
Show InfoTrack searches saved to a matter
You can filter your documents in a matter to only show InfoTrack searches. To do this:
- Select a matter in Smokeball, then navigate to the Files section.
- Select InfoTrack next to the document search bar.
Note: InfoTrack invoices are sent monthly directly from InfoTrack. For invoice inquiries contact InfoTrack directly.
Create a PEXA workspace
- Select a matter in Smokeball, then select the InfoTrack tab and select PEXA.
- Alternatively, select InfoTrack from the Matter tab, then select PEXA.
- Follow the prompts to set up a PEXA workspace through InfoTrack.
After setting up the workspace, selecting PEXA from Smokeball will open it for you in PEXA.

Access SettleIt and Securexchange in Smokeball
SettleIt and Securexchange can be accessed from the Matter tab within a Smokeball matter. They are located at the end of the list along with PEXA.
