Enter a Trustee or Executor as a Contact

If a party is acting in the capacity of Trustee or Executor, such as for a trust or super fund, you will need to specify this on the matter itself by editing the Role and Legal Description. 

To do this:

1. Create the contact and add them to your matter.
2. Right-click on the contact and select Edit Role & Legal Description.
3. 3.  In the Descriptor field box, enter the capacity description, e.g. "as trustee for ABC Trust", as trustee for the John Smith Super Fund" or "as Executor for the Estate of the Late J Citizen".
   
   
4. The Legal Description box will update as you type. What is displayed in the Legal Description will appear in your matter and on documents.
   
   Note that the trustee/executor information will not populate on Land Registry documents that do not permit/require this information.
