Learn how to reverse a trust transaction recorded in Smokeball.
- Open the matter and select the Transactions tab.
- Click on the trust account that contains the transaction, then click on the transaction.
- The transaction details window will pop up on the screen. Click on Reverse and add a reason for the reversal.
- Select Process.
The reversal will now show on the transaction list.
Transactions that cannot be reversed
Transactions used for transferring funds from one matter to another cannot be reversed. These transactions can be identified with the description "Transferred to matter".
