If you have already enabled Smokeball Payments, you can make a credit card retainer request. Follow these steps:
- Open your matter in app.smokeball.com and navigate to the Transactions tab.
- Select the Credit Card Deposit Request button.
- Choose the destination account for the retainer funds you are requesting from the dropdown menu.
- Input the amount you are requesting.
- Enter a reason for the request.
- Select Send Now.
The Smokeball Payments link to pay into the account you chose in Step 3 will be added to the email after you select Send Now.
