To set up a mediation matter that properly accounts for all individuals involved, follow these steps:
- Enter all of the parties you are mediating for in the Client fields
- NOTE: This is done even though they aren't technically your direct clients. This is done to ensure accurate listing in your Matter Views, reporting, etc.
- Enter one party as a Petitioner and another as a Respondent.
- Depending on your jurisdiction, these fields may instead appear as "Plaintiff" and "Defendant."
- Enter the respective attorney for each party in the provided fields under Petitioner and Respondent.
