Divorce is included under the Pre Decree matter type. This broader category covers legal separations beyond divorce, such as annulments and civil union dissolutions.
Follow these steps to create a Pre Decree matter for your divorce case:
- Select the New Matter button under the Smokeball tab.
- Click on the arrow next to the Family folder in the pop-up window.
- Select the Pre Decree matter. To indicate which party you represent, select the Petitioner or Respondent button.
