In order for Smokeball to load your firm's data quickly on demand, it caches that information on your computer. Over time, your Smokeball program may take up increasing amounts of room on your computer's hard drive due to all the data being cached. If you have limited hard drive space, this may cause issues with storing documents and programs outside of Smokeball.
We recommend logging out of Smokeball whenever you notice the Smokeball program taking up more than 10GB of space on your hard drive. Logging out deletes cached data and will noticeably bring your Smokeball file size to approximately 8GB.
To log out and log back into Smokeball:
- Click on your name on the top-right corner and select Log out.
- Confirm that you wish to log out from Smokeball.
- Once you're successfully logged out, enter your Smokeball credentials to log back in again.
