If you experience difficulties with printing checks, you should first verify that you are using appropriate printer settings.
Each printer uses a unique driver that is installed by your operating system (Windows). Consequently, a computer running on Windows 10 with a Canon printer may present a different graphical look when attempting to print a document than a computer running on Windows 11 with that same printer.Â
To determine the best settings for your operating system/printer combination, follow these steps:
- Make several copies of a blank check
- Reprint an old check to test alignment
- You can reprint an old check from the web app by navigating to Accounts > Trust Checks, selecting the three dot icon, and then selecting Reprint Check

- Select the generating check button at the bottom of your browser to preview the check.
- If the alignment appears off, select the Printer icon.
- If alignment appears off, select Fit to paper from the Scale dropdown menu.
- You can also apply a custom scale if necessary. Custom scales with a range of 93-99 typically work.
